Treats — Restaurant in South Sinai

I am very picky about my cappuccino. Luckily Dahab has many good coffee places, and I tried many of them. But Treats was the only place I came back few times. Not only because it was round the corner from my place, but simply because it was the best coffee - creamy, thick, not too milky, with a nice, strong coffee taste. The waiter is very friendly, and very quickly he recognised us. It is nice, when you enter the place, and the waiter remembers your order, so you don't even have to say it. When leaving we always got enthusiastic and genuine 'bye, have a nice day'. Their cakes are good too, and the place is very cute as well. The only thing I would change is the smoking inside. It is half open-air space, but as non-smoker I don't like the smoke even the smallest bit. Unfortunately it is very common...

DO NOT EAT HERE. Got a bad stomach from their cake. We first asked for baked cheesecake and we were told it’s fresh, but when we looked at the piece water was separating from the cheesecake itself. He told us it’s 3-4 days old so we said no and HE PUT IT BACK ON DISPLAY! He said honey cake is one day old and we took it, but when we were eating it and I looked at cream it was cracked! Cracked cream means it’s old and I thought it’s fine I be okay - I had diarrhoea for 2 days.

Treats is probably the current and most consistent Dessert place across Dahab. They have daily freshly baked cakes/dessert and they are honest about production date. Their Carrot Cake is unbeatable, second comes their Fudge Chocolate together with their chocolate cake. That Trio is always gotta-get every time we crave a dessert.
