My wife and I came here for date night. Decor and atmosphere were not what we'd expected but it was laid-back and casual. We ordered Micheladas with Suprema. I got the Tamarindo and my wife got the original both were tasty and mine had just the right amount of tamarind, not too sweet. Glasses were rimmed with what seemed to be a house made spice mix to top it off. We tried the fried calamari and a bowl of the seafood cream soup. Both were very good, especially with the pickled red onions that accompanied them. The real star of the show as expected was the seafood boil. We got the largest combo available and added chorizo which I absolutely recommend for a more authentic Louisiana style experience. This chorizo was reminiscent of the classic andouille which was nice. Both the Louisiana style and Cajun style sauces were flavorful and perfect for soaking up with the generous portion of pan that came with our meal but neither was all that spicy. Next time we'll probably just stick with the jumbo shrimp(combo comes with medium shrimp) and lobster tails as the clams were a bit small and crabs not worth the work for the tiny bit of meat. We really look forward to when the Stone Crab, Crab Legs, and crawfish are in season, as this is probably one of the only places in El Salvador that does real Louisiana style crawfish and my wife's never had stone crab. Service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend this place for sure and considering the large combo we got could have fed another 1 or two people, the prices are quite reasonable. Easy 4 out of 5 stars, would probably give 4.5 if...
Read moreI recently enjoyed dining at Bubba’s with a group of six. We were all looking for some delicious seafood, and we were not disappointed. The food was terrific, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect.
We started our meal with the shrimp tostadas. These were absolutely delicious! The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was flavorful and not too spicy. We all agreed that these were the best tostadas we had ever had.
For our entrees, we ordered two boil bags, one medium and one large. Both were cooked in the Cajun style, and they were both full of flavor. The mussels and shrimp were meaty, the potatoes were soft, and the corn was cooked perfectly. The order also came with garlic bread, which we dipped into the base of the boil. This was the perfect way to finish off our meal.
Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great...
Read moreDisappointing. 😔 Not recommended. Despite the food we got being ok, they were out of lobster and crab, just so happen that what people come here to eat. Then the order was wrong. There were multiple servers and nobody checked on us not even once. We were ready to order more drinks, but didn’t get a chance. The restaurant was not near half full. Unfortunately we will not be back, there are plenty of other options...
