The Green House — Restaurant in San Salvador

This is one of the best healthy restaurants in San Salvador. All their produce are non-GMO, Organic, and free of harmful chemicals. The food is so delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The wait staff is courteous, joyful, and efficient. They know the menu well and can make great recommendations. The ambient in the place is so pleasant. You're surrounded by luscious vegetation and the sounds of nature. The decor of the indoor seating resembles the outdoor nature, with pleasant background music and cool A/C, but sitting outside is an awesome experience!! The entrance is beautiful, it's perfect for taking pictures, so be sure to look cute bc you'll want to post the pics on social media. There might be a short wait for a table on weekends, but they offer complimentary coffee at the reception area, while you do your own photo shoot. Parking on the street can be challenging on weekends, so it's best to do valet parking for just 2 dollars and go right in. Oct 20,2024 it was 3 adults for this visit, we arrived a few minutes after 8 am on a Sunday morning and were seated without any waiting. The decor was absolutely stunning, the patio was inviting but the few drops made it more enjoyable from inside. The service was prompt and friendly, the food presentation was visually appetizing and the taste of the salmon plate, the swiss enchiladas with bean sauce and the bacon, cheese and avocado toast with taro chips were above my expectations. We all agree that the overall experience was a 9.5 out of 10.

Sunday Dec 15, 2024 it was 3 adults for this visit, as expected the location was great, this time we enjoyed the outdoors, I ordered the steak and eggs, it was great tasting except for the potatoes, they were very dry and did not have any spices as the menu described it, my wife also ordered some eggs and potatoes and she also did not like the potatoes. Our friend had the poached eggs and she loved the dish.. once again a 9.5 out of...

We started with dessert because it looked so appetizing. Location is perfect, just near all other great restaurants. A must go to if you're in the area.

The food - We ordered the Chipotle salad and roast beef sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. The food is pricey for the area, but the portions were plenty. We only ate half and took the other half home. All their food looked very good, we will definitely go back and try another plate.

Service - Great service and very accommodating. Our only complaint was when they asked if we wanted extra meat, they didn't verbally disclose it would cost extra. We had a clue it would be, but they should verbally disclose that it is extra. Instead of only asking if you want extra meat.
