Rústico Burgers — Restaurant in San Salvador

This was a place my Tia suggested. We tried some burgers here, and it's a pretty easy to get to the location in San Salvador. With the very small parking lot, it will be difficult for large vehicles to find adequate parking.

The service right off the bat was super friendly and very efficient. From the time to sitting down to our first served meal, it was less than 15 minutes. It is small inside but there are seats available outside for nice days. Everything was served very fresh and crispy and the flavors on the grilled cheese, the burgers and the sweet potato fries were incredible. It honestly tastes like they may even bake their own bread here.

The grilled cheese was absolutely loaded with cheese, onions, veggies, and a delicious aioli. The portions were humongous so you could even share one of these between two people. The Chipotle dipping sauce only added to the experience.

My partner tried the " blue cheeseburger " and it did not disappoint. It came packed with blue cheese and you could smell it as it was being delivered from the kitchen. The size was incredible. It was cooked perfectly and all the toppings and seasonings were fantastic. I highly suggest the sweet potato fries!

Have to be brutality honest with this one. I normally try to find the good in every restaurant, but the only good that I got here was the beer and service but the burgers are a game of chance and it was a painful letdown. I personally ordered the Bluecheese burger, and felt like who ever made the burger did not know how intense of a flavor blue cheese is. I could not tell any of the other flavors apart, like the bacon or caramelized onions, due to the sheer amount of blue cheese that they put on the burger. And I do love blue cheese. Luckily, my wife ordered a different Burger. The burger did have good flavor and a nice, small amount of char to it. Both burgers were cooked medium well. Which in my book is just right. Not over done. But over all, it was not as amaIng as some make it out to be. By no means is it horrible. Large portions, good meat cooking technique. One of the best places to go when in San Salvador and looking to have a massive meal.
