To all Asian tourists, don’t try the noodles! don’t try the noodles! don’t try the noodles! We were attracted by the noodles pictures when looking for lunch restaurants, turned out a totally disappointment! We ordered both two flavors they have, and both were far from being good. Firstly, the portion was way too small for even a woman and a 12yo junior,I was still half hungry after empty my bowl, so we had to ordered some fries afterwards. Secondly, both Chinese noodles and Vietnamese noodles were nothing authentic, the noodles were like cheap instant noodles, the meat was dry like chewing woods, both flavors used same soups and veggies, which were supposed to be hugely different, and they used totally wrong veggies and seasonings ( either the chef didn’t know how to cook authentic Asian noodles or they were short of authentic ingredients) thirdly, the waitress’s service was bad. I ordered a large coffee to take away in my own thermos cup, she brought half cup, I said I ordered a large coffee then she filled the cup full and charged me twice explaining their coffee maker could make only small cups. So a large coffee in my own cup cost 6euros, and it’s not tasting good, very dark roasted plain coffee, not even close to automatic coffee in gas station. Only good thing about this restaurant was the young and lively atmosphere, I guess that’s why it has so many...
Read moreI really hope we went there on a bad day because if that’s their level of service, I can’t imagine how this restaurant can operate in Kuressaare. We went to have dinner with two families on a weekday. The place was less than half full when we arrived. The first worrying sign was that we were left to wait for our menues for too long. Then the waiter wasn’t sure if all the items on the menu were available that night. To their credit, children’s food and a nice surprise treat for our dog arrived within half an hour. But then the wait started. We were left to wait for over an hour more after which half our group got our food while the other half were told that their chosen items had run out and there was no food for them. We actually felt really bad for the young waiter who had to deliver the news since it was not her fault and it should really have been the manager or the chef making this apology. Mistakes happen, but this showed something about the culture of the place. Not a great end to a fun day on this...
Read moreWe wanted a decent restaurant for a good memory to take back home. And this restaurant was probably the best choice we could possibly make. The food was marvelous, we tried the pumpkin soup, the herrings for the starter and the wild boar as a main course. For the children the fish balls. Everything was just excellent. We also liked the interior design and the outside tables as well. The young waitress Laura was a likr a star. Perfect English, extremely helpful when we needed to consult the meals, to change the table from outside to inside, she brought pencils and paper for children when she saw it would be appreciated. She came and asked whether the food was to our expectations. She was smiling although very busy, the restaurant was completely full. The waiting time for food was ok. We did not plan it, but we also ordered the dessert for finish and it was also very good, buckwheat - berry porridge with milk. Not too sweet, just enough and healthy. Just perfect. Thank you, we hope we can come again, you...
