what a good beer! really know how to make a good beer! The place is beautiful, all stylish the bar is inside the shed, the visit to the factory is free but it is done in Finnish language. I was a bit disappointed with the bar attendant. I will explain: 1. My wife and I ordered a dish that accompanied bread, but mine came without the bread (did not want to complain). 2. We visited the factory and my wife went to the bathroom, having to leave the place of the visit to the floor of the bathroom, then tried to return but a girl banned it grossly and she was prevented from returning to visit! 3. The attendants at the bar were rude, (especially a short-haired attendant who made a face and showed herself unhappy there) without patience, coarse, embarrassing. 4. At one point one of the attendants (one of glasses) began to want to open the door of the bar, put a chair and the door closed at a huge speed abruptly, in those on the side we felt a strong wind and our beer fell , made the biggest mess. Then she kept trying to leave the door open and put the chair up 2 times, more cold, but again slammed the door and the chair flight, finally she gave up! I think the bar have potential! but know one thing: to take good care of is an art! I've already visited other tap rooms and by far this was the worst experience in terms of service. I would give 5 stars for the beer! but would not even give 1 star for the...

The food was very good (brisket was delicious) and beers were extremely fine as well. We really enjoyed of the beer tasting platters. The atmosphere was also very clean and pleasant, we actually ended up staying there for 3 hours. However, service wasn’t really that great. we had a table reservation and when entering the tap room, we waited to be seated or at least someone to ask us if we have a reservation and tell us how everything works. The female bartenders/waitresess barely looked on us even though I know they noticed us coming to the room and being a bit lost. We found our table with my name on it and asked the waitress if we can sit down and if we should order from the bar and she answered in a concise way. Sadly we found the waitresses behaviour very rude and unresponsive during our stay in tap room. Luckily one male bartender with dark hair was very good and informative. However, our experience with the food, beers and atmosphere was great. When it comes to the service, this kind of service is very common in Tallinn so I’ll give a review based on the...

Really bad experience. Ordered food, after an hour of waiting I asked how much longer it was going to be, which I was told would be another 15min. I was dining on my own and needed to leave otherwise I’d miss my bus to Riga. Despite the urgency, the waitress couldn’t do anything so I got a refund. I’m now sat on a 4.5h bus starving, all of which could have been avoided if I’d been told the waiting time when I placed my order. I’d been recommended to go, however, my feeling inside was that it felt rushed, the staff seemed stressed, and overall the ambiance was not great. I visited on a Sunday, which only serves all day breakfast, however this isn’t very clear on the website as you land on the same menu as the weekdays which ever button you press. The food looked ok but expect a street food style (which isn’t necessarily bad) in its presentation/ordering, however this shouldn’t take as long as it does to prepare. Overall I wouldn’t recommend traveling there, there’s definitely nicer experiences to be had...

We had our team event there and we loved it!! We also got super lucky (or not) to have full foreign delegation and security sitting next to our table but we still managed to enjoy ourselves at Põhjala!! The food was amazing! We had a group menu selection with meats, salads and desserts and everything tasted so good! I haven't had such mac and cheese that they have there in a looong while! The way it was so creamy and not overly flavoured made it perfect! There was a corn dish there as well (forgot the dish name) and the coriander on top of it complimented the sweetness of corn and for me personally that was an experience I wasn't expecting to get. It was very tasty. The meat was really good as well and we were able to pack the leftovers with us which is a major+ 😍😍 I saw that the staff was a little bit rushed due to important guests but they did their best and we loved every single moment of the dinner. Definitely will have to come back and taste the other tap beers 😋

I had a lovely evening here with some friends, where I got to try some alcohol free beers and have dinner also. I love the building, and the repurposing of the structure has been done very well. The zero beers I had were very good too, from the raspberry sour to the IPA...I enjoyed them all! For food, I chose the double cheeseburger for €15 and added bacon to it for €2 extra. Which was well worth it as this burger was on point! The thin patties were very flavoursome (a mix of striploin, brisket and house bacon), the bacon was lovely and crispy, the cheese was gooey and tasty and along with the pickles, pickled onion and onion mayo made it one of the best burgers I've had in a while! All of the flavours hit my tastebuds in the right way...what a burger! ;D So, if you enjoy your craft beers with a brewery you can visit and you enjoy a decent dirty burger among other dishes, then is the place for you! The service was friendly and relaxed. 5 stars all day long.
