Center Point Addis 360° Revolving Restaurant — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

well where do I start :( we were dining at this so called restaurant a month ago and I couldn't just let it go . the view of the restaurant ofcource is given its perfect !!! but we found out the restaurant stole from our pocket in two ways ,thus before I begun I highly advise you not to go there at all not even for the view :) !!!!!!

we were advised there is buffet package or order from menu so we all assumed its really awesome (real buffet) & went for the buffet and we give it try guess what the buffet only includes a salad bar, pasta, more salad & fruit we are like what !!????? where is the actually food and they said we take the main course from the menu which we were advised strictly with only 3 options to choose from that is either same type of plain steak, fried fish or chicken (literally PLAIN food ).

the second complaint came when we find out we were cheated by the waiters . once we finished our dinner we ask for bill which they brought a receipt of 21,140 which we paid assuming its correct because we were like 12 peoples but once we paid they asked for receipt stating they have to check something and that they will give it back . when they gave it back it was folded so no one was curious that they are a bunch of thief's working there . when one of us sow the receipt next day it says 16,400 only . when we confronted the management next day they said a receipt of 21,000 was sold only on the day time and when interrogate the waiters confess and he said he thought it was a tip LOL ( 4,000 etb tip for salad bar lol) they said they will contact us to reimburse but they kept quite so far !!! but wont let this go will take them to court for the receipt fraud . Too bad there is only 1 star wished there was half star :) they would definitely be on that list . I highly recommend you go else where , where you will find service , quality & honesty...

Really cool atmosphere, good 360 view of Addis on the move. you can feel the rotation on your feet. Just went there to talk to a friend staying there and we just wanted to catch-up for just a bit with a wine but found out they have a no meal no drinks policy which I tought was a bit rigid since we were the only ones and it was on Gregorian Christmas eve. The place was empty which was not surprising considering their strictly rigid restaurant policy. We had to order their chicken nugget which was not bad just to stay for a while and enjoy our wine and the understaffed waiting staff was really nice and disciplined. To be honest, the third star was for the engineering creativity of the rotating view and the really nice...

Management and waiting staff need to reflect on why the restaurant is so empty all the time. The main courses are just not tasty and the menu needs to be revamped. Why serve mediocre continental food when they could serve outstanding Ethiopian cuisine. The only redeeming feature is the soufflé which is good for this part of the world, but you can't just go to the restaurant to have dessert, they make you suffer the drab...
