KOKORO Sushi Vallila — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I have been eating sushi in Germany, Vietnam and some eastern and western European countries. But this place gave me the best sushi ever. The salmon was fresh and juicy. The rice was just perfectly cooked. T tried first the Nigiri then all of their signature sushi. You will see it easily by the stars. The Miso soup is free for customers' self serving. I just put some food picture as examples. I strongly believe that the sushi chef really put his expertise and love on it. The decoration of the place is simply specially cute. If you like manga (dragon ball, inuyasa, sailor moon, pikachu, etc.), you will love this place. To be honest, this place brought me back to my childhood memories. I gladly took some pictures here. The couple who owns the restaurant is really friendly. We had good conversation with each other. I really had a great time there. I highly recommend this place and love to be back when I visit...

(One of the) Best place in Helsinki a hidden gem in dark shady area oh well location is easy to access with car a bit walk from train.

Given the price range, sushi was decent, nothing less nothing more. Food was served rapidly, which was a plus. Atmosphere was uplifted by the Japanese-themed decor.

Now on to the bad. Both of the edamame portions we ordered were really mushy to the point it was impossible to eat as they would deconstruct in your mouth, with the shell and all. Upon giving feedback, the waiter did not seem to care, with no attention given to customer satisfaction.
