Luigi Pizzeria Kallio — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Pizzas lacked taste. Basic things like the quality and amount of cheese, tomato sauce and the dough were all not on par with anything you can get in this town. Cardboard is the closest in taste to what this place has to offer. Would recommend any place else. Pizza isn’t so hard to make well.

Service was ok, but there was constant traffic as the owner and some random fellow kept running around and speaking quite loudly.

A nice small pizzeria in Arenantalo, by the Ympyrätalo. The service was warm and welcoming. During lunch time there was only one waiter/cook, but everything went quickly and smoothly.

The pizza was served on a wooden plate. I ordered Luigi special with air-dried ham, cherry tomatoes and rucola. The pizza bottom was well done and suitably thin and crispy.

The size of the pizza was large for me and I asked to have the rest packed to doggy bag. The price-quality ratio was just right.

Always enjoy trying a pizza in different parts of the world. Luigi Pizzeria is doing it right. Located near different types of public transportation. Tram stop right outside. I got right in and was able to sit down and eat. Reasonable prices compared to where I come from.
