Chitir Chicken Jyväskylä — Restaurant in Jyväskylä sub-region

First visit, Good: Huge portion sizes (1 burger meal easily feeds 2). Unlimited drinks are included on meals. Friendly staff. Quick servings (although had only few customers at the time). Good selection of different ready meals.

Bad: Chicken bit overcooked, burger bun top was slightly burned. Sadly KFC is 100x better in taste (juiciness, spices!, deep fry quality, cheesy sauce, fries etc). Prices are rather high (1.50eur for trip-juice! is always good meter on price ranges..). Restaurant is quite hot (no air-con?). Strange high pitch noise coming from kitchen? Taste quite bland, should add some spices. But looking forward to try different foods next time.

Second visit, Good: Better food this time, Kebab burger was tasty, not dry. Super meal chickens were rather tasty, not overcooked. Note to previous visit: Noticed that there is air-con device, and fan was on this time, no high pitch noise either)

Bad: Quite long wait, even though not many customers in queue. French fries had changed from steak fries to regular fries? (taste was good , but steak fries were better and had larger portion..). Still feels that The Brand tries to push higher priced dining experience too much, when in fact the ingredients are not premium quality.. Would have 10x more customers if priced...

We ate at Chitir Chicken in Jyväskylä. We ordered expensive food, but the owner was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We were sitting upstairs, and when I went downstairs to ask why there were no napkins upstairs for cleaning hands, the owner arrogantly replied: "We don't put napkins there because customers eat like animals and use them too much." I took the napkins and went back upstairs. A little later, one of our friends went down to order more food, and the owner once again scornfully said that we "eat like animals."

When I was leaving, I told the owner that this is not the way to treat customers. He lost his temper, started shouting, and stormed out of the shop threatening and trying to start a fight. Absolutely disgraceful behavior from a...

The cashiers are always lovely! The food is generally good but recently they’ve been putting much less fries in the super meal which left me wanting more.

Clean enough

It seems like the owners are always sitting downstairs (which is fine) but it seems like they’re watching the employees a bit too closely which could affect the wellbeing of the employees (basic business and management). Which makes there atmosphere downstairs a bit tight.
