The place was nice but this is not a restaurant. You order your food at the counter and there is a nice little buffet with soup, salad, and other simple food. The buffet is all you can eat. There is not much choice but they can accommodate to your needs and are nice about this. Staff is nice and helpful but there is not take service. The music was the hard thing for me. When I sat there the music was ok but then 5 minutes after, it was heavy metal/hard rock and a little too loud, which I am totally not used to. So I had a little headache at the end because I didn't dare to tell them to switch to softer music. 🤭🤷 However it didn't seem to bother others. Actually I think they liked it. While sitting there, I remembered reading that Finland has the world's highest number of heavy metal hard rock bands per capita... It was a confirmation and a cultural experience I guess. Last but not least, it was very cheap. I paid something like 12 EUR for some good falafels and had the soup and salad extra with the buffet. Quite filling. Thanks for the good experience. Lord of efforts on the decorations, paintings on the walls. For me, it was a perfect Halloween type of environment. However, as I asked a lot of these referred to Scandinavian mythology and folk stories Finns would know and understand. Next time I will read...

I have to say that their food menu was quite good and with local foods. The beer was pretty outstanding. They had a combination of various sours (which I'm not a fan of generally), juicy or hazy IPAs, IPAs with chinook hops, and other well thought out beers. This place is in the newer part of town, new from a construction standpoint. There's a lot of apartment buildings and hotels around it and they had a good crowd coming in for a Friday afternoon. There's probably around 10 tables to sit on and a bit of some outdoor tables but I do recommend sitting on the inside to get the full experience. They don't offer a traditional flight of beers, but instead, they have a smaller glass you can order of each of the beers. I ordered four distinct beers through this method. Totally...
Read moreThe food is ok, prices are on the higher end for both food and drinks. It is directly adjacent to the Lutakko venue, so it is not the quietest place in Jyväskylä for food. The local Hiisi brewery taoroom has a wide array of their beer both on tap and bottled and the staff are happy to help you find your...
