A Good place. Tea varieties a plenty. You can get tea from the ordinary to the weird. The new place/venue/base is beautiful. Some might think it's hard to find or sort of not so accessible or not near where everything is happening, but I found it easy. Of course I'm local. There's also apple pie, cheese cake, salty pastries, chocolates, honey, tea making paraphernalia and things of that nature and then some. Worth to check it out. The veranda/porch/outside seating is good because there's a covered section and an open yard. There's also a barn type structure adjacent to the building. Read moreEven if you aren't a fan of tea when you enter, you will be on your departure! The restored themed rooms allow you to sample a wide eclectic collection of teas that the staff are more than happy to guide you through. Be sure to have cake, you won't regret it! It's pretty good for the non existent afternoon tea...

It started off well, the staff was friendly and we picked two strong teas (chai and ginger) and a cheescake and took a seat outside in the pleasant yard. That is when we heard the constant roar of traffic from the freeway nearby and flea-like bugs started dropping from the tree onto our table. Both our teas lacked the characteristic taste and it didn't improve when a bug fell in. The ginger tea was simply bland and the chai tea had no spice but only a strong black tea taste. As for the cheesecake - I've had better supermarket cheesecake. We left after a few minutes, I'm glad others have had better...
