Ravintola Zivago — Restaurant in Oulu sub-region

Went here for a nice meal with 5 people. We ordered appetisers, and they only arrived with the main meal instead of being brought out before the meal. I ordered the steak, 36 euros. I mind you. All that for 180-gram steak and 5 small tomatoes. Knew it when ordering but still a little shock compared to the other meals like the Pepper Jack sandwich, which is much more affordable and has more on the plate to fill your tummy.

Fish and chips are not the English fish and chips. Instead, it's the battered fish with small bacon flavoured crisps, so pay attention if ordering in English.

The actual food was nice, and the service was good! They noticed the vofusion of Fish and Chips to us and gave us chips for free. The meal sizes are a little weird and differ between dishes, so you might need to order the appetisers if...

I was exited to visit one of the best place in Oulu again after long time. The restaurant is decorated with brown lounge style and it is furnished by simple chairs, sofas and tables.

Foods taste incredible in their unique taste styles but they are a little bit pricy compared with others and you need to pay more for additional sides. Anyhow it's worth it and acceptable.

One more thing I have to say that the service is the worst. Aged long grey hair waiter is so mean and very rude as being arrogant and not only ignore what customer is asking but also saying unpolite way to customers which is unusual in restaurant.

I would not go back again if the service is nothing better even foods are...

Delicious meal, sweet and fast service. Portion sizes ridiculous compared to the price. "main meals" don't include the sides usually included in other restaurants, so if you just didn't want to eat meat then you had to order the side. Barely filled me. The lamb was wonderfully soft and I liked the crunch in the potatoes, but all in all the meal wasn't worth 16+5€, so I won't go...
