Kotipizza Rovaniemi, Pohjolankatu — Restaurant in Rovaniemi sub-region

We came to try the pizza Berlusconi, named after the Italian PM who said that "Finland has the worst cuisine in the world".

The food from Kotipizza proudly proves him wrong. Everything was fresh, local and delicious. We ordered by telephone (in English) and parked outside for collection, but I almost wished I had eaten in: the atmosphere is relaxed, modern and classy - but also family friendly. They had a range of fresh food at the counter and drinks. The seating looked comfy with good views out of the back window.

The pizzas were handmade and perfectly cooked (the Berlusconi was on a rye-base, which I have never tried before).

Prices were not expensive (for Finland) and we would eat again any time....

I hadn’t been at any Kotipizza for over 15 years because I was living outside of Finland. Tonight I was craving for pizza and headed at this location. Place is clean and it seemed they were fairly busy with online orders. Not many people inside the restaurant itself. I was positively surprised about pizza quality.
