Hotel Rudolf — Hotel in Rovaniemi sub-region

For me it was ok that the reception was in the other building. I actually found the surrounding very good! I liked that it was in the center and you had everything what you needed near you!

I only ate the breakfast once and it was on my last day before checking out! The reason was because it was in the other building!

When i arrived and checked in it was all very good! When i got in to my room - i was little pit uneasy - it did not gave me the feeling that i would want to stay there .. the reason was because of the bathroom - it is very old and smells bad! I did not like that at all! The room was ok.. nothing special. What i also did not like was that i could hear other person in their room and if someone was in the hall also! It gave me the feeling that everyone could come inside and everyone hears you! Well no privacy!

By the end of the trip - well i got use to the place ... it was what it was! I only would book it again because of the closeness to the city center and it’s cheap!

Rovaniemi - this beautiful city made all good! I met very nice people! I had wonderful time and activities there and well sometimes you cannot have everything totally good! We learn and live with...

I have booked this hotel for December 2025. Have emailed numerous times to alter my booking to one day before and no replies!! I can't believe they just don't reply!!||Have emailed them to an email off site but still nothing, but can see that they have read my messages through booking.com but nothing. To add insult to that then I realized I was charged an extra $12 and have no idea why and it wasn't the exchange rate. I was very skeptical about this accommodation after looking at the poor reviews. However, since we had no other accommodations available, we went ahead and booked it anyway. I have to say I was positively surprised with the experience. The only annoying part of course is the check in in a different hotel but apart from that the place itself is quite good. Walkable distance to the city centre and also to bus stops that take you to the most important destinations. There is also a nice Chinese restaurant in the same building which offers a good buffet and a well priced menu(also their portion sizes are quite big compared to other places in Rovaneimi).
