I recently had the incredible opportunity to witness the Northern Lights, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than what Polar Lapland provided. From the moment we were picked up until the end of the tour, everything was seamless and well-organized. The guide, Tino, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the Northern Lights, sharing fascinating facts about the science and mythology behind them, which really enhanced the experience. Not only did they take us to prime viewing spots, but they also made sure we were comfortable and well-prepared for the cold conditions. The highlight, of course, was the Northern Lights themselves. The display was absolutely breathtaking, and thanks to Polar Lapland, we had the perfect vantage point to see the lights in their full glory. We were in Rovaniemi for three nights. For the first two nights, there was high aurora activity but clouds were aplenty and hence we could not see the elusive lights. We already had a planned activity for the last night(feb16th) but we decided to cancel the same and book the chase with polar lapland - soon to be the best decision of our trip. Although last moment, Tino was super helpful with the booking. Picked us from our hotel and began the chase. With his deep knowledge about the region and also a vast network, we saw the first glimpse of lights in the first 30 minutes of our expedition. The were there but weak hence we continued our journey. We saw them again, in their full glory. Tino took us to a nearby lake and we stayed there for a long time, capturing them with our eyes and our cameras. Tino also doubled up as our photographer and took amazing pictures. He was kind, patient and also suggested poses for the best pictures. We went to a location even further where it felt like the lights were chasing us all along.

Yesterday(27.02) me and my husband joined on a Northern Lights tour. I was hesitant about which company to choose, as I wasn't sure who was reliable. I'm so glad I chose this company! Arttu is a true aurora hunter. He loves his job and gets excited like it's his first time seeing the lights. I highly recommend this tour. He did his best to show us the lights. The tour length is variable, depending on the ever-changing nature of the lights. For example, we were initially told we might cross into Sweden.
