Guesthouse Outa — Hotel in Rovaniemi sub-region

In comparison to other hotels in Rovaniemi Matkustajakoti Outa definitely is much cheaper than others. I was in a clean private room, with a sink and some cooking utensils, fridge and tv. This was more than enough for me. The bathroom was communal which wasn't an issue, I was never waiting to use the shower or bathroom and everything was clean. Best of all was the service I received from the man operating the front desk. I had to arrive after the check in time because of the way the trains ran and he waited for me after hours to arrive to show me around and give me the keys, I also lost my key when I was out on a night safari and I was able to call him and he came at 1am to let me into my room, he was very kind and was able to give me great information on the city and answer any questions. I would definitely recommend to any traveller on a budget which offers great service. It is also in a convenient location, near the no.8 bus stop which goes to the airport and the Santa Claus village. It is also an 8 minute walk from the central hub...

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2017. Take the mini bus waiting at the airport when you arrive. It will drop you right infront of this hotel. Very convenient if you ask me. The room itself is spacious for a solo traveler. Single bed with fridge, microwave, chair, sink. Bed was a bit too soft for my preference but Im sure some people like it that way. A few blocks from the shopping malls and food places so this place is totally convenient if you somehow get hungry at 12midnight (Mcdonalds at Rovaniemi is 24hrs). The couple maning the reception are very nice. Place is very near the bus stop. The bus here gets you to the Santa Claus village and the airport. We got down in front of hotel from Airport in private bus (7euro per head or you can also take bus number 8 costs 3.50 euro each).||Osta has minimum rooms with all amenities. The owner is very polite, humble and always ready to help. The room is compact and quite congested for two people but manageable. The Bus stop, Super market and Arktikum are nearby.
