Aloha Ramen — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

The miliue was nice and cozy, the staff was nice and everything you would except. Ramen felt and tasted authentic, but unfortunately the pork belly was not seasoned as I would have imagined (it lacked the flavour that I have been used to in other ramen restaurants). Also the ramen broth had this wierd flavour that was overpowering, it tasted that it might have to much pepper or something in it, it tasted that it had too much umami flavor. Dont get me wrong, ramen was still good and tasty, but it needed some tweeking done. On the other hand, the dumbling were excellent and really tastefull. Unfortunaltely fried chicken was dry, but the mayonese was good.

It is great to see finally a ramen restaurant in Tampere, and I would love to see more ramen options in the future, I would definately come again later and try...

Dirty dishes on all tables except one. I didn't really reflect on it until later. At the counter met by a 'tired of life' waitress. Ordered 4 dishes all came at different time. The kaarage was dry and tasteless. Gyoza was fine. Ship chicken ramen, same here kaarage was partially dry, nasty bamboo shoots, 1/5 stars for the noodles, 2/5 for the broth. I'm not sure where the Hawaiian inspired ingredients were. This shop needs to step up. I guess no other ramen shop in Tampere therefore no competition and no improvement.

Reflecting on my experience i should have left when seeing the dirty dishes and the waitress.

Not so cheap as a student traveler like me but worth the price - the chicken katsu bowl is so good!

Went here on a Sunday night and I am so happy they were still open. I am so grateful that they accommodated my order even if it is about 45 minutes before their closing time. I tried the chicken katsu - the chicken is deeply fried, as a katsu should be, the flavors of the sauces is amazing, the veg and fruit (mango) combination is amazing. I love eating white rice and mango (yes, this is a thing 😂) back home and tasting mango in this rice bowl dish really made me miss home. So good.
