Luckiefun’s Sushibuffet Koskikeskus — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

[see latest update below] Very good quality sushi and sashimi. A lot of sushi variety. About right portion of rice (the other restaurant just give you too much rice). Chinese food is really good. Salmon Tom Yum soup is very special and tastes so thai. By far, this japanese all you can eat restaurant is much better than Itsudemo, Wamati, Ainoya and Maruseki.

The down side is its atmosphere that is nothing compared to Itsudemo. If you want to have great sushi and sashimi, highly recommended to come here. But if you want to sit in a nice looking restaurant, you may not want to visit here.

[updated July 2020] I lowered the score by 2 stars. I have been going to this Luckiefun at Koskikeskus for more than 30 times since their opening. Unfortunately, our last 3 times after re-opening buffet after Covid-19, the food quality has drastically dropped. Rice was very very dry even at the time when the customers were full (meaning newly cooked sushi). Ice-cream was melting badly. No more sashimi and the price remains the same! Permanent change from Coca cola to Pepsi (already like a year ago)

Now I have to say that Itsudemo's quality is much better.

[updated September 2020] Obviously, the owenr or entire cooking team han changed. Sushis have completely new looks and noticeable. Chinese food is totally different from the last 2 years. Now it's more like a standard chinese restaurant with sushi rather than sushi with Chinese food. 15.9€ on the weekend is definitely too expensive with this quality...

Came here because of all the positive reviews, and I can say the reviews are justified. There were enough different sushi to choose from, but not too many. The quality from what I can tell is well above average, and for the price (12,90€ at the time) it is a bargain. In addition to the extensive sushi selection there is a table dedicated to Chinese food. There were also two soups (miso and tom yum), both of which were delicious. As for dessert, there were sushi with fruit toppings, cakes, cookies, ice cream of two kinds, as well as coffee and tea. I could not ask for more, so this is probably becoming one of my favourite sushi restaurants in...

Vähän jäi sellainen fiilis, että hyvä palvelu loppuu kun joku menee pieleen.

Ostettiin ResQ sovelluksen kautta pari pakettia vegesushia 16.3. Kotona huomasimme että kuudessa oli kanaa.

Yritin soittaa Luckiefunsiin ja kysyä tilanteesta. Puhelut meni näin: Puhelimeen vastataan. Tervehdin ja esitin asian niin minulle vastataan "3 minuuttia" ja lyödään luuri kiinni. Soitan toisen kerran. Minulle vastaa sama henkilö joka sanoo haloo monta kertaa ja samalla puhutaan toisille työntekijöille. Kysymyksiini vastattiin "öö, öö" tyylillä jonka jälkeen käsketään odottamaan ja puhelin laskettiin ilmeisesti pöydälle. Odottelin pari minuuttia ja huhuilin onko puhelimessa ketään mutta ei vastattu joten löin luurin kiinni. Soitan kolmannen kerran. Tällä kertaa käy ilmeisen selväksi ettei vastaaja (sama henkilö) osaa suomea eikä englantia (olin yrittänyt puhua jo molempia toisen puhelun aikana). Puhelimeen tulee toinen henkilö joka hänkään ei osannut kunnolla englantia. Sanoi että odota 20 minuuttia (?), pahoitteli ettei osaa englantia ja puhelu loppui.

Tämän jälkeen minulle soitti noin 20min kuluttua suomea puhuva henkilö joka pahoitteli tilannetta ja jonka kanssa sovimme ensin -20% korvauksesta mutta tämä ei sopinut sillä käymme hyvin harvoin hakemassa ruokaa Luckiefunsista, joten pyysimme korvattavaksi sen 6kpl susheja jotka olivat menneet pieleen. Tämä tuntui sopivan vähän nihkeästi.

Tänään 17.3 haettu luvattu 6kpl boksi susheja. Laatikko käytännössä lyötiin kouraan sen pidemmittä puheitta. Jäi jotenkin kylmä fiilis. Henkilö oli sama joka soitti takaisin eilen.

Omasta mielestäni korvaus ei ollut liioiteltu ja pidänkin vähän outona että se aiheutti tällaisen kokemuksen. Sushit ovat olleet hyviä kun ovat olleet oikeita ja muutenkin palvelu hyvää, mutta nyt pitää miettiä käymmekö...
