Great food - if you happen to get any. We were a group of 4 seated on the high loft-style table where we sat above everyone else. This was pretty fun until we realized up there we were literally out of sight out of mind. Our meal started with appetizers which menu suggested could be ordered to share. How do you share a tiny single peremec? Appetizers were tasty but so small we were eager to order some proper mains. We waited for a long time without food or drinks and after a third time one of us had walked to the bar to ask for service someone came to take our main course order explaining there was some issue at the bar. Then started the waiting game. After ~20mins the waiter came to ask us slightly passive aggressively if everything was now ok to which we replied we would like to get the food. It took another HOUR for the waiter to come and tell us about the “technical problem” they had with their system and told us our orders were never sent to the kitchen. Based on the other reviews this is a disturbingly common issue with them. When the food finally arrived it was very tasty though I wished I saw how it looked, the lighting in our booth had been dimmed to minimal which increased the feeling we were forgotten to our perch. Sillily we assumed since there was a such a blunder with out main orders our desserts would be delivered with extra care but it still took over half an hour for us to get our (delicious) ice creams. Our fairly simple dinner lasted in total for 4 hours. Never again, no food is worth the service...

Let's start with the staff - kiitos to you! They offered us so much information and answered our silly tourist questions and a pint of Finnish beer was indeed simple, but still worth trying. They were kind, attentive, and friendly. Now onto the food. I absolutely love it when places offer vegetarian food that is also interesting and innovative. What a gem to find. Their tacos were incredible, available as meat or vegetarian - it did not disappoint. They also give alcohol pairing suggestions with the menu which is worth a try also. The presentation was also nice. Last but not least, the atmosphere was quiet at first but got busier the longer we stayed. The place is sectioned off well between casual drinks and dining in but it all seems to come together well. In short, if you find yourself in Tampere and in need of somewhere to eat, put this place...

Ruoka oli ihan ok. Hintalaatu-suhdetta pidän liian korkeana. Palvelun taso oli huonoa. Ravintolaan mennessä ei näkynyt henkilökuntaa hetkeen missään. Seisoskeltuamme hetken päätimme lähteä haahuilemaan pöytää perältä jolloin vihdoin ilmeisesti yksi ja ainoa tarjoilija löytyi. Asiakaspuolella tiskin vieressä istui ilmeisesti joku henkilökuntaan kuuluva henkilö (ravintolapäällikkö?) tietokoneella, jonka johto tuli tiskin takaa. Hänkään ei tästä tyhjästä ravintolasta huolimatta edes tervehtinyt meitä tai katsonutkaan vahingossa meitä päin. Tarjoilija ei toivottanut tervetulleeksi eikä hymyillyt. Kysyi syömmekö vai juommeko ja osoitti että voimme istua tuonne. Palvelu oli hidasta, joka sinällään on ehkä ihan ymmärrettävää sillä olihan siellä vain yksi henkilö tarjoilemassa ja aina välillä ilmeisesti itse kokki kävi tarjoilemassa yhtä pöytää. Tarjoilija puhui töykeällä äänensävyllä ja vaikutti muutoinkin ammattitaidottomalta, sillä limsoja kysyttäessä hän nojasi kaksin käsin kyykistellen meidän pöytää vasten yrittäen muistella mitä limsoja valikoimassa oli. Saimme vastauksen pepsi pepsi max ja joku öö joku öö joku jaffan sellanen erikoismaku mikähän se oli ja sitten vielä öö joku limejuoma. Dippejä kysyttäessä homma meni aikalailla samalla tavalla. Osa jätti dipin vaihtamatta jolloin saimme kuulla kommentin " hyvä, ei mua kiinnosta mitä te haluutte tilata, mutta keittiöltä voi tulla sanomista". Myöskään meiltä ei kysytty missään vaiheessa maistuiko ruoka tai mitään muuta mikä mielestäni on normaalia asiakaspalvelua ravintolassa. Laskut saatuamme saimme tarjoilijalta oudon kommentin että: "kukaan ei sitten ala tässä kohtaa enään kaivaa opiskelijakorttia" en tiedä yrittikö tarjoilija olla vitsikäs vai miksi tälläinen kommentti, hänen äänensävy oli tätä lausuessa kovin töykeä. Pöydässämme ollut henkilö kysyikin että "tai mitä sitten jos kaivamme" saimme vastauksen töykesti "no sitten joudun meneen takasin tekemään nämä uudestaan."

Luin myös näitä arvosteluja jälkikäteen ja omistajan passiivis-agressiiviset vastaukset hämmästytti paljon. En mene ravintolaan tämän kokemuksen ja noiden omistajien kommenttejen jälkeen enään toiste. Tässä kuitenkin muutama vinkki ravintolalle. Laittakaa myös alkoholittomat juomat listoihin, sekä dipit ruokalistoihin, perehdyttäkää työntekijöitä myymiinne tuotteisiin ja panostakaa asiakaspalveluun.

Olo oli kuin olisimme olleet piilokamera ohjelmassa. Olen saanut mcdonalds pikaruokaravintolassakin aina huomattavasti paljon parempaa asiakaspalvelua, kuin tässä...
