I came here to enjoy brunch with a voucher that I won. I phoned up to ask if my dog was welcome and the staff member was really polite and friendly on the phone. She also spoke perfect English as most Finns do, allowing for my limited spoken Finnish. And she assured me dogs were more than welcome at Dam bar. When we arrived it was a very nice atmosphere with a few others dogs there too. Superb.

The woman working welcomed us and kindly brought my dog a bowl of water and some treats. That was a really nice touch. The Brunch menu was cool with the option to tick the boxes of dishes you want. We had a selection of brunches and I had an alcohol free Bloody Mary. It was really good. Savoury and with a thicker consistency than most. The food didn’t take too long to arrive but it wasn’t fast either, that tells me they make a lot of it freshly which is encouraging. The service was really good. The waitress appeared to be working alone but was still attentive and was very good at her job. My only criticism is that the portions were on the small side. But they tasted good, that’s for sure. The rolled mushroom omelette was superb and the chicken with the pancakes was cooked...

The bar itself looks so cool! The entrance is free and there is sometimes a queue. Yes, you have to show your ID Card before entering.

Then inside, you have several places to stay. You can either stay inside, or in the terrace outside, below or in the upper one! Both have coaches and enough space for a medium group of friends.

The prices are quite high for anything, but you have a free water dispenser! Still, they also have a restaurant service, where the food and dishes look so nice! A nice afternoon plan for a group of friends, whether it's a student or an adult group.

They have a giant tv screen, so it's a nice place to watch a football or ice...

I ate the gochujang chicken and it was probably the worst culinary experience in my life. It was a whole bird, but totally overcooked, so it was really difficult to get the meat from the bones and I ended up having several bones in my mouth because of that. Moreover, the salad didn't work at all with the bird since there was so much mayonnaise. Other foods looked pretty ok, although the portion sizes were pretty small. Basic service, no complaints there.

I wouldn't eat a second time here. Find...
