Brokadi Hansa turku offers the very best Chinese dining experience in Turku, Finland.
I originally come from Hong Kong where is food paradise, including more than 250+ Michelin stars restaurants in the town. Due to Covid travel restrictions, I have been Finland for 2 years already. I am totally craving for authentic Chinese cuisine.
Here, I find Brokadi Turku offers the most delicious Chinese dishes in Finland. The “must-try” items include Mapo Tofu, homemade dumplings, steamed garlic prawns with vermicelli noodles and poached sliced beef in hot chili oil.
Brokadi Turku is run by passionate Chinese chefs. They want to promote Chinese food culture in Nordic and bring customers a new dinning experience. Apart from their signature dishes, I highly recommend you to try “hotpot” as we Chinese all love hotpot. It represents moments when we have fun, joys, laughs with friends, family and the ones we...
Read moreThey told us that they have started an all you can eat option where we can choose from the hotpot menu and also eat from buffet. It costed us 6€ more than the normal two person hotpot making the total bill of 46€ and 2€ for water. We only ate sushi and desserts from the buffet and ate our hotpot food. They added a lot more rice in sushi than a normal sushi bite. A plate of rice was left in the end. When I went to pay the bill he said that we wasted a plate of rice and he will charge us for one extra buffet. I asked him to pack me that plate so I can eat it at home. He disagreed. I respectfully told him that he did not share this policy with his but he was insistent that he will charge us extra and charged us 66€ in total. In my personal point of view he charged us extra from the start in the all you can eat mode but then he again charged us for one extra buffet. It was nothing...
Read moreThe food at this place was very good. It's nice to see that when I order spiciness level 3 I actually get really spicy food. The hotpot base and the ingredients are really tasty. But, the Sichuan peppers in the soup had some sort of dust that was chrunching in my mouth so that was a bit annoying. But the tomato soup was nice. The balcony view is also nice but we got charged 66 euros for a 2 person meal and obviously that food wasn't worth 66 euros. We were told an upfront price of 48 Euros for the hotpot plus buffet option. At the end we got a hidden charge. The sushi had too much rice so I ate half and they added that charge as one more imaginary person. But, we didn't try anything from the buffet apart from sushi. They conveniantly mentioned the charge at the end instead of during or before the meal. Summary: Good...
