Trattoria — Restaurant in Turku sub-region

The restaurant presents itself as an "above average" dining place, based on its prices and dishes. Despite that, it is located in a busy shopping center and is very loud and crowded.

Many people passed by our table on their way to shop or to their rooms in the hotel by the restaurant, thus the atmosphere was not pleasant and felt like a rush-hour diner.

The food was okay but the prices did not justify the meal's quality nor size. Additionally, tap water was served in jugs at the table before the start of the meal, but at the end bill, each diner was separately charged for it.

The service was slow, but the staff was very kind. We had to wait a longer than average time for our food as well as the bill.

I would not recommend visiting this restaurant, there are better, cheaper, higher quality places where dining is much more pleasant and satisfying. Visiting this place left a bad taste in my mouth in more...

Yesterday 17 of June I went time 13.30. The blond girl was very polite I pay one lunch and I glass of wine. I went to sit and all the tables besides the window and next to them were all reserved? With a label saying reserved. I asked can I sit here and the other girl that was there said they are only for lacarte. I asked my money back and left. THIS STRATEGY IS VERY VERY RUDE. BY THE LAW ITS NOT ALLOWED ALSO. I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. Also allot of times because the people that work there are students and learning the job as a waiter they have the tables full of empty plates and not good service. The costumers are not supposed to move the plates left and right just because the manager doesn’t see that it’s not nice looking and not polite the people move to ‘empty the table to be able to sit. WHAT I PASSED BY I WILL BE SAYING IT IN ALL TURKU BECUASE...

Had the il bordo and some wine. The mocktail was very nice and it has a decent wine list :)

IL Bordo sure was a lot of food. Pizza as part of it was really good. Pistachios and chicken and avocado and some sweet sauce was excellent.

The antipasta was decent but not perfect. More bread (focaccia) for the antipasta would have been nice. Prosciutto slices a had some bone or really hard pieces in them. The 'coleslaw was really good!

Went real early at 15:00 just after lunch and we were almost the only ones there - perfect with a 4mo baby.

Service was good. Ambience also really nice. I like the section with greenery hanging in the roof. Windows facing out so it's a nice view. Currently a large portion of it is of a construction work...
