Really belting place in terms of atmosphere and music, however skis get taken and security are power hungry.
Partner got his skis swapped accidentally here and the security guard was VERY physical with me (a very small lady)
I was trying to LEAVE which involved trying to push past the jam packed crowds as I was doing so lifted myself and shimmied on the empty stage for 2 seconds to squeeze past a large group and immediately he pointed at me and ran over and just roughly picked me up by my shoulders and shouted in my face. It was quite terrifying. Luckily I just told him that I was trying to leave anyway, so please help me out as I was stuck in the crowd, I think he understood me and I was able to quickly diffuse as I was sober. I didn't want to be overly polite but otherwise I can imagine this going very wrong if I hadn't had been.
But you get four stars because the band was amazing hehee. So we will be back, regrettably. Xo
After seeing some other reviews about this bouncer / security guard I understand now. I get you have to have a firm rule but to treat people so roughly and intimidating small women seems the power has got to his head. Maybe management should sort this person out by putting them on extra training...
Read moreWas here during pride week .so maybe entertainment was a little different than usual .turn up late and you will have to que so had two visits over the week ,starts with a live band ,they where ok and kicks off with DJ ,instrumental mix and perhaps singer I enjoyed the vibe .price of drink is a big thing for me and some places where charging a tenner plus for beer and not providing entertainment for that, it was 8 euro n Cocos and I was happy to pay that although they had pitchers on their menu for 20 not available.i prefer this place to le folies deuce as I'd experienced it last year and the vibe is the exact same it's become boring .that repetition as u see in the Ibiza clubs can only entertain drinkers for short while we need variety and I think this place does a good job .as for security they have bouncers not doormen so there's no need to be rude also I see it as rude to service alcohol 10 mins before closing and not give time enough to finish .you get lots of freeloaders in french bars maybe that's why the bouncers know from experience who they r and that can explain rudeness experienced by some but also why I feel someone holding a drink that pays the wages should not be cajoled out as soon as the...

My experience at this place was ruined by the behavior of the security guard. From the moment I approached the entrance, he was rude and confrontational. He stood way too close to me—invading my personal space—and demanded my ID without any politeness.
When I explained that my husband was inside and I just needed to find him, he refused to let me in and made a dismissive, rude hand gesture to tell me to leave. Even when I showed my ID, he wouldn’t look at it and continued to act as if I was the problem. He even accused me of being disrespectful when I simply asked why I couldn’t enter.
The worst part was when he aggressively grabbed my friend (a woman) by the arm, which was completely uncalled for and frankly alarming. This was not professional or appropriate behavior from someone whose job is to ensure safety.
I felt humiliated, scared, and unwelcome. Management needs to address this issue immediately because no one should have to deal with such hostility. I would never recommend this place if this is how they treat...
