Le Dahu — Restaurant in Albertville

The food is actually not bad at all, BUT the service is probably the worst I’ve ever had. To start with, we had to wait a really long time to be noticed by the waiter. Then we had to look for him to come and take our order. Then we asked him for another menu as our friend was joining us. The guy literally threw it on our table. We asked for some extra plates and he gave it to us 20 minutes later, when were almost done eating. Then, somebody spill my beer all over the table and my pants and he did not even bother helping cleaning our table. He threw some dirty wet tower to me to clean it out myself. No napkins and he did not even ask if I wanted another one (I didn’t mind paying for it). The waiter gave to all of us so much attitude that I could believe waiters like that exists. Food was great: I don’t quite the previous reviews about that: we had two pizzas which were very good, tartiflette and croziflette were perfect, and event the nuggets for the kids were much better than anticipated. Kudos to the kitchen.

The service on the other hand is a catastrophe: from beginning to the end it was slow and inconsistent. We got half of the main plates before even getting a single drink, had to wait in the cold for 10-15 min for 2 scoops of ice cream (included in the kid menu otherwise we’d be out of there sooner!). Seeing the waiter collecting pepper and salt from tables in the middle of such a slow service makes me think they need a manager to organize the service and realize the potential...

Wow that was bad, food was disgusting, bland and poorly presented.

We sat outside and waited for staff to clear the previous occupants plates and glasses. Had to ask an additional 2 times for our waitress to clean our table.

She was clearly annoyed at this and wiped 10% of the table walked off and threw the cloth on the service station.

Not one to start drama we waited for our food, which was somehow worst than the service. I paid and left. In hindsight, seeing the previous tables nearly full leftovers spoke for itself.

Shocking, don't visit this place... Terrible. Plenty of other lovely restaurants...
