We had an absolutely fabulous time in this hotel. The reason I loved it is because it's a little bit further away from the main area of downtown Courchevel 1850. It's a ski and ski out facility that is much quieter than some of the other well-known hotels in the area. But do not worry, there is a shuttle system that will take you anywhere you want to go at any time !;So you are not cut off from the main hopping part of town, but it's quieter. The proprietor, a lovely lady, was present and was always keeping a watchful eye on the service, so everything ran quite smoothly. All the details of the decor were very well thought of, but if there is something I had an issue with, it was the service 🤔 personnel. 5 stars implies that the waiters remember your preference and waters, sparkling or still, coffee ☕️ black or tea 🍵! housekeeping remembers that you preferred have a sheet instead of thick covers... 😉 little details that in a hotel of only thirty-five rooms are quite easy to retain, but that did not happen. But understanding that turnover of personnel, we are already thinking about booking for next year!

Passez votre chemin !

Our 2nd visit to Hotel La Sivoliere with our family of 4 including 2 daughters ages 11, 13. We were very happy to return and our visit exceeded our expectations. The location within Courchevel 1850 is perfect, their ski room makes renting ski's simple, and voila the hotel is ski in / ski out into the amazing Tres Vallees. A great complimentary breakfast each morning is an excellent start to each day, and the friendly staff + shuttle car makes for easy days and nights. The spa is also a plus adding steam, sauna, & pool relaxation after a ski day. merci beaucoup

A superbly designed hotel, newly renovated with really comfortable rooms! I'm always a little wary of staying in chalet style hotels that aren't renovated in a modern style and was really pleasantly surprised with the interior finishes. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which best of all had two bathrooms and a large sitting room which we just loved. ||||pros: ||||- excellent value for money. We paid apps 600/night including breakfast for fantastic accommodation. We have previously paid 700/night in courchevel at a pretty ok 4* place.||||- complimentary shuttle service all day, actually its a private chauffeur service all day which is really fantastic. Having stayed at the Badrutts palace in St moritz last year and having paid 30% more it was not fun to have to pay 20 CHF to take a 3 minute taxi to the nearest lift, and so it s wonderful to have a hotel car ready to take you into town so you don't have to slip and slide your way down.|| ||- excellent breakfast and also a nice breakfast area with a decent view of the outdoors. We stayed at Chabichou a couple of years ago and it wasn't fun having breakfast in a room without windows.||||- they have a small kids play area so one would think its a good kids hotel, (but i never saw any kids in there.)||||- solid concierge who would sort out all our reservations and last minute changes to instructors.||||cons: ||- the service. It wasn't genuine hospitality. They never really tried to be genuinely interested in you or your concerns. They did it, they got the job done but not in the way some places make you feel so special, they just did not have that. ||||- spa: tiny pool, which wasn't heated enough in my opinion, and no jacuzzi. that's a bummer. on the plus side you;re in courchevel and there is so much apes ski you may not even miss the spa, but i definitely wished there was a jacuzzi.||||oh and one horrible incident to report:||||my brother and his wife had 1000 euros stolen from their room, intact they walked back into the room right after breakfast to see house cleaning in there and their bag was opened. Suspecting something weird my sister in law check her bag to find money missing. The hotel at first would nt accept it and the hotel manager Ms Florence just wasn't accommodating about it, eventually they offered my brother two free nights for next year. They will obviously never return to this hotel, which in my opinion should have given them even one free night but during this stay. ||||||Would I go back? At these prices yes because I know exactly what i'll be getting and what i won't. In my opinion it would be a 5 star stay if they just improve their service and warmth, and...

We visited from Florida with our 2 daughters ages 10, 12 and loved our stay. The family room we shared was very comfortable including 1 king bed + 2 bunk beds + scenic view. Upon arrival we noticed there was no coffee machine or tea service in the room. We called the front desk and soon we had a nespresso machine, an electric hot water kettle, and tea bags. Voila.||The staff + concierge were very friendly and emailed us numerous times prior to arriving advising they can make lunch & dinner reservations, etc. They emailed their go to list of restaurants and activities and from within we planned a great stay. ||The hotel has red courtesy cars and offers guests round trip service to anywhere within 1850. If you are going outside the 1850 elevation, Courchevel has a complimentary bus that is user friendly and convenient.||The ski rental in the hotel ski store was very efficient. Each morning the staff at the ski store helped us put on our ski boots and at the end of the day helped us remove them. The staff brings ski valet to the highest level! I’m skiing for 50 years this was the best service I have experienced. The hotel is ski out/in and is very convenient.||Each day after skiing we enjoyed the hotel spa. The steam, sauna, and indoor pool was very calming. The ‘sports’ massage is amazing. Take a spa day for massage as we did, IMO.||Breakfast was fantastic and the seating area is so cozy tucked in the mountainside.||We typically visit Colorado for spring break skiing, and this year decided to think outside of our box. We’re so glad we did. The hotel + French culture are magnifique!||Some tips / things to do:||Restaurants: Le Granier within 1850 is excellent, and if u r ok with driving 20 minutes to the lowest elevation Black Pearl Pizza is amazing. slopeside 1850 we enjoyed de Laroche brasserie” located at Hotel Courcheneige on the slopes. Also 1850 slopeside Mille Sabords (Italian) was nice. ||In Maribel slopeside Maya Altitude is a great lunch spot!||Lastly, if you are new to Courchevel as we were, the 3 valleys can be most enjoyed by hiring a guide. We’re seasoned skiers and initially I didn’t think it was necessary to pay $545/day for a guide, but after spending our 1st day getting lost a few times, without hesitation we hired a guide with a local company Fast Tracks - find via google (and it was our best day seeing all of the valleys (without getting lost 5x, lol). Ask for Martina, she’s a guide and was so nice, especially with...
