Extremely Disappointed – Unreliable and Poorly Managed

We had a reservation made through our hotel for a large group to celebrate an important and special occasion. Unfortunately, the experience with this restaurant was nothing short of frustrating and completely unacceptable.

First, the day before the reservation, the restaurant’s concierge messaged us on WhatsApp, incorrectly stating that our booking was for that day, not the actual date we had planned for. Despite my clear response confirming our correct date and confirming following day reservation.

Then, on the day of the reservation itself, they sent a request for a bank card at 5 PM with only a 1-hour window to provide it, demanding it by 6 PM. Naturally, we missed that message within such a short and unreasonable time frame – and exactly at 6pm, our reservation was cancelled.

There was no alternative offered, no real effort to resolve the issue, and the level of communication and professionalism was shockingly poor. For a place that presents itself as a high-end establishment, their service was extremely cheap and unreliable.

I would strongly advise against relying on this restaurant, especially for any special occasion or group booking. It’s unacceptable to treat guests this way, and no one deserves to be left stranded last-minute due to internal...

Disappointing Service and Disrespectful Treatment

Unfortunately, our experience at this establishment was far from positive. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty with only one table occupied, we were seated at the back, while the entertainer focused exclusively on the table of men. This made the experience feel uncomfortable and exclusionary.

To make matters worse, we weren’t even finished eating when the waitress came by twice to remove our plates, making us feel rushed and disrespected. Ultimately, we were so disheartened by the service that we decided to leave.

The situation worsened when I went to retrieve my coat from the cloakroom. The attendant refused to hand it over, and only after a security guard intervened in French was I finally given my coat. This entire experience left us feeling humiliated.

After reading some of the reviews I was very scared to go to the restaurant La ferme Saint- Amour. After my visit, I came up with some thoughts. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is very good and the singer is AMAZING. The service… I can see that everybody was very well trained. The waiter did a perfect job, looking out for every detail. BUT there was only one mistake. Just like I saw in many reviews I think a place like that shouldn’t lose some stars with the same thing every single time. Why does the waiter ask for some extra tip???? In my opinion this is very intimidating and not polite of them. Lost some points here and could keep loosing.
