Huski — Restaurant in Albertville

Update 2024 to the 2023 review below - we had a 2 week stay and used Huski again this year, and loved it. We tried some new meat-free dishes and old favourites and were very impressed with all. Delivery was also very efficient, on time and with good communication. I will still ask for some fish dishes to be added please :) "Excellent. Food quality is second to none and ease of preparation too. The meals are delivered to your residence (if you aren't yet checked in or don't know your room number they leave the parcel with the reception, - which then brought it up to our room). The meals are cooked from frozen and retain all the wonderful flavours. We were especially impressed with the home-cooked taste and perfect seasoning, not too salty or peppery but still full of flavour. The Savoyarde specialities are our favourite, the beef bourguignon, chicken Savoyarde, tartiflette are all amazing. This year we also added pork Dijon, coq au vin and Thai red chicken curry which were all superb. Next time we plan to sample their veggie dishes which look and sound yummy too. One wish would be to have some fish on the menu, maybe salmon as that freezes well? Lastly, communication from the team was also timely and helpful. We are seriously considering ordering extra and then taking it home with us next time!! Well done and a massive thank you to all the team, keep doing the great work, we now can't imagine our ski holidays...

We used the services of Huski for our recent ski holiday to Les Arcs 1950 and we were very pleased we did. The service and quality of food were both excellent. We ordered via the easy to use website and opted for the 6 day menu for our party of 6 people.This offered exactly what we wanted although we could have changed some of the menu options should we have wanted to. Food quality was excellent and portions so generous we found we were able to feed ourselves for lunch and dinner. We particularly liked the flexibility of delivery to the apartment before we arrived on the first day as our flight was delayed and we would not have reached Les Arcs 1950 before the shops closed. Huski deliver the six day menu in two parts as they recognise that most people do not have a freezer big enough to hold the full delivery. On our extra day we ordered by phone and again found Huski staff to be helpful and responsive. The food was delicious. The Huski service is an excellent innovation which nicely fills the gap between self catered and fully catered accommodation but at a very reasonable price. The cost compares favourably with buying food from the shops but eliminates most of the hassle. It is very significantly cheaper (and probably better quality) than eating in local restaurants.This has to be the way forward. We would have no hesitation in recommending Huski and will certainly use the service on our next ski trip....

first time users of Huski. fed up with poor choice and silly prices in the small resort supermarkets so decided to give this option a try. Huski is not cheap, however one has to take into account the whole picture....the alternatives are far more expensive and less convenient and you are paying for the food and the convenience. we were very happy with the 6 main meals we ordered and the portion sizes were better than expected. cooking was easy and hassle free. after a full day on the slopes we tend to enjoy a good sized meal and we were not left wanting for more. (4 adults) we chose to provide the side dishes (rice, spuds, veg) ourselves as these are easy to take in the car from the UK and Huski prices for these items are far too much (10 euros for 4 portions of rice). the main meals were good value and very tasty. one of the dishes we would not order again but that is just our preference. The Bourginon and coq au vin were especially tasty. communication was very good, we didnt have a freezer so had to have a mid week delivery. this was handled very well and they accommodated our request to deliver after skiing very well. the driver phoned to give us 30 mins notice . there was a slight mix up with the milk we ordered but not a big issue due to spar shop in our apartment block having milk. I am sure we will use...
