We were looking forward to celebrating our last evening in Les Arcs with a nice dinner at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were asked whether we preferred still or sparkling water. We opted for still water, only to be given a bottle from a brand we didn’t recognize. This seemed odd, especially since we noticed other tables had different water. It turns out they gave us paid bottled water, while we had actually requested the free tap water.

I had ordered the €30 salmon, expecting a high-quality dish based on the reviews. Unfortunately, my plate did not meet those expectations. The nori was soggy, and the presentation was far from appealing (see photo). My friend also ordered the salmon and received a beautiful, pink piece with perfectly wrapped nori. When I pointed this out to the waitress, I was dismissed in the same manner as when I raised the issue with the water.

This was a real disappointment and a sour note on what was supposed to be a...

We went for a meal with the group of 4. The melted cheese was absolutely beautiful although I would recommend to share not one person food. The duck was very tasty, onion soup a bit watery, the special slow cooked pork was a bit tough the skin wasn't crispy and the glazing was as a sauce (pure sugar) which was far too sweet for me. I was a bit upsad about it saying that if I wanted dessert I would order one but my friend who had the same dish liked it. The snails in pastry were tasty I have eaten first time, the consistency of mushrooms in garlic in olive oil and herbs. Restaurant have polite service and overall atmosphare was good. It's a bit picey that why my expectation were high although it's to be expected from small place in the...

This restaurant would have scored far higher, we had a delicious onion soup on our first day. We subsequently booked our evening meal for the chalet hosts night off and had an excellent meal. Unfortunately we went in again for lunch and ordered a couple of pizzas, an hour later we still hadn't received our food despite 4/5 tables of french customers arriving well after us and having all their food delivered, despite constant assurances that the food would arrive soon, very disappointing after spending €300+ euros the night before. No apologies and they were insistent that we paid for our drinks. Probably some kind of french peasant...

Decent pizza, but also other great mountain food like steak, french onion soup and even innovative nori salmon with horseradish. Espresso++ from the cocktail list is a nice booster if you are a bit tired. Kids will love doughnuts from the dessert menu. Compared to the other places on the mountain, this one has one of the best quality/value ratio. And the staff is friendly and helpful too. We really enjoyed it.
