Le Bollin — Restaurant in Albertville

We entered the place thinking it would be your average mountain restaurant. Place was messy with bad music but we didn't think much of it. There wasn't one free table, which was fine, so we sat on a mound, not disturbing or harming anyone. We got our sandwiches out as we were going to buy some drinks thinking it would be fine as we would've given them business, and there was no signs saying we couldn't do this. Not even two seconds after getting them out a very rude man charged over to us and started shouting at us in french, very rudely. Told us to get away even though we were about to order drinks, and it's not even our fault that there isnt any tables to spare. Sat outside the restaurant with our sandwiches and sat by our skis whilst being rudely stared at. Terrible experience and i had to convince my dad not to bash the man's jaw in because he was being a right idiot. Not the first time this has happened looking at other reviews. 0/10 DO NOT GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT ABSOLUTELY...

We arrived & were looking to buy drinks, unfortunately there were no tables free so we decided to sit down on the snow off the terrace & eat our sandwiches while we waited for a table to become free & get our drinks. Within 2 minutes, a very rude guy started shouting in French at us. When I said we do not understand, he said in broken English we must leave immediately as no picnics allowed. I asked him where his properties boundary was & he said it included the area on the snow we were sitting. I explained we were waiting for a table to buy drinks but he was not interested. I moved with my family to the piste edge just outside the net that supposedly bordered his property & continued eating my sandwiches. He stared at me from a distance. I was hoping he would approach me again as I was in the mood for another verbal attack. Fortunately for him he thought...

Service and attitude of the staff - terrible. Originally we were brought the ‘cheap’ menu - and were insistent on us being seated outside. Our request for the full a la carte menu was met with disdain and attitude - it took multiple requests from different members of staff to get this menu- each suggesting we should avail of the cheaper menu. Not sure if it was due to the ‘younger’ demographic of our group. Waiter did not even ask how we would like our steaks done - rushed off as quickly as they could take the order without a hint of politeness. Would like give this place ‘0’ stars - but can’t. The attitude of the waiting staff was that they didn’t care in the slightest whether they were providing good service - they know that most visitors are only there for one week and they will have fresh...
