A gem of a bar/restaurant in the mountains of Tignes. Perfect for Apres Ski and also provides for a nice dinner atmosphere with live music at the bar and what can only be described as fine dining upstairs. The onion soup was out of this world and the Beef and Duck was just right. Definitely worth the visit with good wines and wonderful hospitality/service. A must visit when in Val Claret! Thank you Phillipe and staff for the personalised service!

Most amazing spot in town to have a fun night. Possibility to request a whole playlist until closing and handle the music behind the bar .. I mean what else this is lovely. The food is always excellent, I tried the whole menu and I suggest the meat! Thank you guys for countless nights of fun and endless memories.

Meal was excellent, we started with the shared meat and cheese plate followed by the steaks. Generous quantities and great taste. Finished in the bar area tasting the different beers and wine on offer and talking to the super friendly staff. Ended up going back at least for a drink most days of my week in Tignes!

Still the cheapest and best bar I've manage to find in Val Clary

Best bar I've found in Tignes. 2 for €8 on Grolsch, Prosecco & Vin Chaud between 1600 - 1900 hrs.

Atmosphere - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (later in the evening, one of the few bars to show sport on TV).

Food - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (try the Après Camembert......just what's needed after a day on the slopes!)

Last but not least the Staff - they are all Amazing!!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In a lot of venues around here I've felt like I'm not welcome, however from the second we walked into Couloir both me and my ski students felt both welcome and well looked after by all the staff!

Crossing everything I get to teach on another course here next season because I want wait to come back to Le Couloir Bar to see you again! (you have my permission to ban me from late night Espresso Martinis...

Very good restaurant, I can't speak for the bar. Waiters were English and of course spoke fluent English. They didn't have the rude French attitude you often meet either. Food was really good and I don't have any complaints apart from them using the same dirty rag to clean 3 tables, its borderline unsanitary but still a great place with friendly staff. For the quality it's pretty cheap as well. We paid 100 euros for a bottle of wine, two ducks and a fish and chips. I don't have much more to say just a great place overall, toilets were a bit dirty. Probably one of the better restaurants in the town if you factor in price. Could be a 4 due to the rag and toilets but I'm giving this a 5 because...

We just got home from spending Christmas here! We can’t thank the entire team enough! Not only did ALL the staff make us feel so welcome, they were so friendly and the chefs went out of their way to create us a full vegan menu on Christmas Day! They even called us to confirm our reservation the day before and let us know they were going to try and put something together for us!
