Sadly this bar is a wasted opportunity in the best location in Meribel. The don't serve drinks outside, you go inside and ask for a drink to be told that you need to speak to another person. You order from that person who then (passive aggressively) resentfully brings your (expensive) drinks outside. If the owner is curious why there is no atmosphere since nobody is eating or drinking at this restaurant, then the very simple reason is the unwelcoming service and attitudes. And yes, my wife did come to use the toilet with our 5-year-old son yesterday morning (who is just a child and was desparate). She asked politely for permission, which was politely granted by a waiter. Yet afterwards the female manager went crazy and shouted at my wife, despite her being previously being given permission. It's clear from other reviews that this bar is going in the wrong direction from poor and negative management and no business vision. Fortunately the bar employs one very friendly younger waiter, who is clearly aware that he is working in a negative environment (and will probably leave for a more positive establishment based on our observations and experience). Hopefully the bar owner/manager will take this feedback on board instead of getting over-dramatic and angry this time. This bar really could be the ultimate apres bar/restaurant in the heart of Meribel, with the right attention...

Avoid! The worst mulled wine I’ve ever had, it must have been gone off or something, the only explanation. 3 very unhelpful, grumpy staff (and 1 waiter who seemed to know what he was doing). We were the only customers there with 4 staff hiding inside, who refused to take our order at the table, so we had to go inside, then once our drinks arrived they refused to help bring our drinks outside (4 staff with no other customers? Come on!). Would love to buy and take over this place as it has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s currently being run by people who aren’t interested in delivering customer service or a decent drink. Nice place in the sun. I had a big injury and could barely walk. They said bar service only. I had a lot of orders and even though I had a broken shoulder and sprained ankle they could not bring me some fries at the table 10 meters from the bar because they were too busy’. Fries are frozen and cold. Sometimes you cannot but lose hope in the humanity. A small gesture of kindness would not have cost them anything....
