In 2004, we did not have Google reviews, and I sit here in my little cubicle in Iowa, I thought it would be nice to leave a little feedback to a pub that made so many great memories for me. Everything is excellent from the food to the beer. I had the chance, over the course of my 3 month stay in Annecy, to get to know the staff fairly well. The owners are amazing, a great mix of young and old. A great father and son duo! The chef at the time was great, and though he spoke little english, we communicated just fine. James and I threw him in the canal at the end of the summer. He took it well. The manager, James was originally from Texas, so he was amazing and helped me pick out some really fine cuisine. The location and drink selection are easily 5 stars, top-notch. But the service consistently fell short, which was disappointing. Maybe it was because we’re American or simply due to the staffs nasty attitudes.
