When a restaurant advertises that it's pizzas aren't ordinary then you're expecting a very good pizza, especially when theyre pushing Italian dough and ingredients.
I'm glad to say that it didn't disappoint. The pizza base was just as I liked it, nicely baked with a good crisp. Sauce was very good too, as were the toppings on my nicely spiced pizza.
The service was very good, the guys were friendly and helpful. I wasn't overly keen on the Colomba beer, but that's just down to personal taste.
A relaxing hour or so spent enjoying our pizzas at lunchtime on Sunday, just as the market was coming to an end, so plenty of people watching 👍🏼.
Would I eat here again, yes definitely. I know it sounds daft but even on our recent holiday to Ravenna it was hard to find a good pizza, especially one that has a good crisp and not soggy base. After all a good pizza is all about the base, oh and the sauce of course.

My reviews aren't sponsored, they're based on mine, and often my wife's experience at an establishment whether that be a shop, restaurant, service or activity, with the aim of highlighting great service plus areas for improvement, if necessary. And boy sometimes it is necessary.

Read moreThe Little Italy in Annecy offers an exceptional dining experience that's worth celebrating. The Capone pizza was a delightful burst of flavors—perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. The selection of Primitivo Salento and Gran Passione "Veneto" red wines complemented the meal beautifully, enhancing the overall enjoyment.
We also tried the TiRA MERCATO specialty, and it exceeded expectations with its brilliant taste and unique blend of flavors. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the dishes justifies the expense. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste showcases a commitment to culinary excellence.
The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, contributing to a positive atmosphere. We sat outside but yet the team ensured we were warm and welcomed.
Little Italy might lean towards the pricier side, but for the quality of food and the delightful culinary journey it offers, I believe it's a competitive choice in Annecy's dining scene. Highly recommended for those looking to savor a taste of Italy in this picturesque...

Having eaten amazing plant-based pizzas all over Europe this has to be the worst we've experienced. A soggy base, bland tomato sauce, tasteless and dry aubergine, burnt olives and absolutely covered in layers of rocket and HEAPS of raw mushrooms. No seasoning at all.
Just because someone isn't having cheese (for whatever reason) doesn't mean you need to throw the kitchen sink at the pizza. Use THE SAME (aka small) amount of ingredients as your other pizzas. Quality over quantity.
Tastier ingredients for non-cheese pizzas (if you're too lazy to easily source some plant-based cheese) are Artichokes, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Jackfruit, Smoked Tofu/Tempeh, Red Onion, Capers, Pineapple, Butternut Squash, Broccolini, Peppers, Pine Nuts, Olives (fresh and not burnt) etc - the list goes on.
Alternatively remove it from the menu before someone...
