Read moreWe chose their 4 course menu with menu items chosen by the chef for our honeymoon dinner. We wanted an intimate setting where we could sit, reflect, and enjoy good food. We were getting tired of traditional raclette, fondues, flamed grilled meats which was on most of the menus at the hotels or the restaurants in old town.
We loved getting to taste the local produce with creative presentation at this small intimate restaurant. We were seated at a small table in the room with the open kitchen where we got to see the chefs in action. The service we received and quality and presentation of the food was a lot more than what we thought we would have paid.
The chef came to our table to explain each dish, they were attentive to our needs, and each plate was cooked very intentionally and ingredients were very complementary.
Our favorites were the tuna tartare with beet and dashi and the freshly made chèvre cheese.
Be prepared for top-notch local food and service! We would highly recommend this restaurant for those visiting Annecy...
Read moreWe were in Annecy with a friend, who had her birthday coming up. So we looked up, what’s not far from our apartment with good reviews and saw, that right below is a place with a 5.0 rating. We looked at it, you would never guess, that in a very simple looking house behind a very modest sign is a place like that. It turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences we had so far, for a very moderate price. If you are alone or a couple you should sit at the counter and watch the chefs do their magic. With mo re people go to a very undecorated back room. No show, just great food with a very nice attentive service by a young enthusiastic team. The menu is limited, but everything on it is a masterpiece. Hope to come to Annecy and eat...
