The best ice cream place has been a favorite since 2010, consistently delivering wonderful and amazing flavors. Even the waffles are phenomenal! I love this place in all seasons, whether it's -2 degrees or 34 degrees. All the flavors are great, but I especially recommend the Stracciatella, Nutella, Nougat, Kibana, mango sorbets, and pistachio.
The pistachio flavor here is exceptional; it truly tastes like pistachio, not like the artificial flavors you find elsewhere. Many places around the world use preservatives that make their pistachio flavors taste more like medicine, but that's not the case at Glacier des Alpes!
One suggestion I have is to improve the online operating hours. I visited a couple of days ago, and it was closed for a break, which wasn't surprising given that it's not peak ice cream season. However, the posted hours misled me—LOL!

We bought chocolate, with a free small scoop of grapefruit on top. Cookies scoop with a free scoop of Nutella. Cookies and Nutella were decent but the chocolate one was pretty bad. It was bitter with a weird aftertaste. I have eaten lots of dark chocolate before so I know the bitter taste of chocolate, but this was something else. Grapefruit was surprisingly okay, though it was a bit too sour for my liking.
The staff was friendly. They even encouraged us to get a small scoop which is free.
The choice of flavors is also not great. The range is so small compared to Glacier Perriere. I prefer their variety and ice creams, which is just a stone's throw away...
