Another restaurant recommended by our concierge. Very succinct menu. I hope there are more options/local offerings.
Environment: quiet corner in an alley near the castle. The charcuterie board building process at the entrance seems interesting. Aroma of meat grilling keeps wafting to the area.
Meat is of good selection. Salami is a little spicy and very tasty. The other ham comes with a pleasant pepper crust. I’m not particularly fond of this cheese.
The burger tastes good, but the beef pattie can be thicker and lacks a little juiciness. The caramelized onion is a little too sweet.
Pesto pasta is just normal.
Desserts sound alright. I opted to get a salad instead (I wanted Camembert but I just finished a whole board of ham).

We were warmly welcomed and offered the small but delicious sounding menu. I had the Asian chicken dish as it was the gluten free option, and my partner had the burger. For desert we ordered the panna cotta and the chocolate and raspberry cake (GF). All four dishes were sublime. The house red and house white were akin to those we’ve paid well over the odds for back in London. A delightful evening, in a perfect little restaurant. Had a lovely burger though and my partner had an Asian noodle curry which was tasty. The terrace is quite busy and it could get hot.
