I live in Arcachon and have seen the changeover of this place. The new decor and setting is lovely, I had high hopes. However, the prices are elevated, and every time I get a drink there I am disappointed. Cocktails often have more ice than fluid. In addition, and this is my very worst complaint of this place, there is a server who has a particularly unpleasant attitude. The guy with the tattoo behind his ear, who's been mentioned here already. I'm not sure why he is in the service industry when he clearly doesn't enjoy what he's doing. One time we were there for apero, but were told the kitchen was closed, even though the menu mentioned a non-stop service. When we asked him about it, he replied "If you want to go help in the kitchen, go ahead." He's often impatient and acts like we are annoying him by being there. We went there for birthday drinks in November 2022, and because he was so surly, it ruined the evening. I swore to not return. But just today I thought I'd go back and try it again with friends and we unfortunately got the same server again. It's just not worth it. Between the prices and the unpleasant server, I recommend you go somewhere with better vibes. This...
Read moreA great dinner option in this small town that was open late. We arrived a little after 9pm and were seated promptly (no reservations needed).
The lighting and decor was dim and cozy, there was a huge mirror behind the bar that made the place extra vintage. We tried two main courses and a salad which apparently was meant as a main course itself because it was huge and our server got slightly confused when we ordered the three dishes :).
The Caesar salad was fresh, tasty and had breaded chicken added. I had the tuna + rice dish which was extra delicious, and my partner tried the grilled half chicken which again was tasty and high quality. The drinks came fast and were super great. Overall a great dinner experience that made us...
Read moreThe most awful experience at this restaurant. From the outside it looks beautiful with great music drawing you in. I ordered the arrabiata and in my first mouthful I had a massive chunk of plastic. The food was not nice, really poor quality, and with the plastic in my food I presumed most probably microwaved. Part of our meal didn’t arrive and they had still tried to charge for this. The waiter was incredibly rude, not just to us but to other customers either side of us. Don’t let the pretty decor and good music fool you,...
