I visit Café Sainte-Marie on the 9/9/25, the morning I was returning home to Dublin after my week of volunteer in the Baths in Lourdes for a Pastry and Coffee. After I left there I went to Mass and stopped off in a few places. When I arrived home I discovered I had mislaid a white Paper Lourdes Bag with my Items I purchased for Family & Friends. I was devastated. To my absolute delight yesterday evening I received a package delivered from Lourdes. ( My receipt from Hospitality Notre Dame De Lourdes, with my home address was in the bag ) OMG !!!! Café Sainte-Marie packed the items in a beautiful box and returned to me. Thank you So Very Very Much Café Sainte-Marie I will phone you today also , I just needed to post this for your Kindness meant so much to me, Merci Merci...

Il miglior espresso di tutto Lourdes!

Se siete a Lourdes e cercate un vero espresso buono, di quelli che si ricordano, questo è l’unico posto dove dovete andare. In una città dove purtroppo il caffè spesso lascia a desiderare, qui troverete finalmente un espresso degno di questo nome, preparato con passione e gusto autentico.

Il locale è sempre frequentatissimo, segno che la qualità si fa notare. I prezzi sono nella media, ma la differenza la fa tutto il resto: la simpatia del gestore, l’atmosfera rilassata e soprattutto il caffè che vale davvero la sosta.

Non potete sbagliarvi: i tavoli all’esterno con la bandiera italiana sono il segno distintivo. Fermatevi, sedetevi, e godetevi un espresso come si deve. Un piccolo angolo d’Italia a Lourdes, imperdibile per ogni amante...

This is my 'local' here in Lourdes. Manu has created a great atmosphere in wonderful simplicity. His coffee is excellent: he has a lovely selection of local wines and of course some very good beers on tap. May your visit be memorable as mine always...
