Café de l'industrie — Restaurant in Arles

After seeing the reviews/pictures, we were excited to try this place. What we got was far from our expectation... The food on the flight over was way better. Pictured is the "risotto chorizo".... straight from the freezer to the microwave. Accompanied by some browning lettuce with mayonnaise on it. They even left it in the microwave dish. The "blonde ale" beer was disgusting. It tasted like it had fruit syrup added to it... all of this while having our earbuds accosted by "live" music through a cheap speaker with stage lights that would be too cheesy for a middleschool dance. The "dj's" ringing phone stopped the music and played through the speaker for a solid 2 minutes... We confronted the waiter who was dismissive. Save your time, money, and ears and go somewhere else. I was really disappointed with my experience here. After paying for food and drinks, I was shocked to discover they actually charge customers just to use the restroom. That’s incredibly unwelcoming and leaves a very negative impression. A café should be about hospitality, not nickel-and-diming guests for basic necessities. I definitely won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone who values decent...
