Restaurant Pizzeria La Mamma — Restaurant in Arles

We were looking for a pizzeria for 2 adults and 4 kids. Not an easy task to start with!

We ended up finding Pizzeria La Mamma in the heart of Arles, very close to the amphitheater.

The staff that attended our table was extremely friendly and patient with the kids.

There was a kids menu which was perfect for the kids (pastas or pizza for main and ice cream or panna cotta for dessert). The rest of the menu is extremely complete and will satisfy all tastes. The pizza we ordered were perfect is size and taste. For desert we ordered tiramisu and panna cotta and they were also very good.

Friendly service and convenient location. But that's about it. Tasteless attempt at Italian cuisine. Lasagne needs seasoning such as salt or oregano - be prepared to bring your own. Just beyond the cash register you can see the pre-made pizza crusts that come in stacks of 12-in plastic. What a disappointment! Too bad homemade is a foreign concept when it comes to their pizzas. Stick to French bistro cuisine in Arles. Head 200 miles east for good...
