La Capsule Arras — Restaurant in Arras

New joint. In the town centre.

The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about what they are selling.

There is 30 taps with a wide variety of beers, all of them artisanal. Everything from hoppy, IPAs and the unusual such as a beet beer. There is also some whiskey and whisky, wine and soft drinks available.

The bar is long and well set out with bare brick walls and some beer themed photos and posters. There is a clever bottle wall separating the wash rooms at the end.

There is a downstairs area but it wasn't open when I was in.

I liked it and judging by the crowd, so do the Arras beer...

We found this place on a visit to Arras. Unfortunately, I was driving, so I could only sample one beer whilst my partner went through 4. It was superb. My partner enjoyed all his 4, and with a choice of 30 on pump and a knowledgeable barman, it was easy to find the right one. Despite not being able to drink, the atmosphere of the bar, volume of the music and little quirky extras around still made it a great visit to me. Google did not pick it out when we searched for good beer bars, an obvious mistake. Loved it and told them...

Great place for a beer... or two! Lots of choice and there’s plenty of seating room downstairs too. Staff really friendly and advise on what beer you may like according to taste and alcohol strength. Prices reasonable too It’s bar service, absolutely fine as long as you know and don’t sit down waiting to be served! Loved the choice of music in there too, you can hear it but it’s not...
