We stopped in just for a quick drink - we were met with a great atmosphere filled with warmth & kindness. After meeting the chef we decided to stay and try the food, the bartender made the perfect recommendation for drink pairings and it was fantastic. After that of course we had to try the dessert sampler and - just wow!! Coffee and a 15 year old Calvados was the perfect ending. We both had a stew one meat, one vegetarian.

Arrivati qui per caso mentre cercavamo un posto dove fermarci per pranzo, attirati dal menù e dai tavolini all'esterno (avendo con noi un cane XL preferivamo stare fuori) abbiamo chiesto se potevamo accomodarci. Nonostante non parlassimo francese ci siamo arrangiati con l'inglese, e possiamo dire che tutto il personale si è rivelato gentile e disponibile. Ogni tanto si accertavano che stesse andando tutto bene. Sono stati anche disponibili quando ad un certo punto abbiamo chiesto se potevamo spostarci all'ombra perché dove eravamo seduti era avanzato il sole nel frattempo. Il cibo tutto buono, abbiamo preso un tagliere vegetariano, una crepe vegetariana e una crepe camarguise (non ricordo se si scrive proprio così). Le focaccine che accompagnano il tagliere e le crepes sono con farina di grano saraceno. Hanno birre artigianali. Abbiamo speso 55€, con due bicchieri di vino e una bottiglia di acqua. È un posto che sicuramente consigliamo! Ah, per gli italiani, abbiamo chiesto due caffè espressi...ma non erano esattamente espressi 😅

Here, you can enjoy French beer, wine, and reasonably priced food. When I visited, the place was crowded and the staff were quite busy, but they remained friendly and helpful. Their warm hospitality left me with a pleasant memory of my trip.

Fantastic restaurant! Wife of the chef was so welcoming and accommodating, and the food was delicious! I had the plat du jour and a crepe (at 14.90 euros for a main and desert it was fantastic value), and the crepe was the best I have ever eaten! Beautiful, quiet location in a picturesque square and the best food I ate in Avignon!...
