Well looking at the building from outside I didn’t know what to expect has a visitor to An indoor market Les Halles d’Avignon . I walked In and to my amazement it was a beautiful indoor market area with a beautiful selection of different foods to purchase. Some of the vendors have places for you to sit and try your purchases, otherwise you can take them away with you the choice is down to you really . It’s a very colourful place indeed , the whole market area is very very clean . An absolute must go when visiting Avignon. I just can’t remember what time it closes , we went around lunchtime and it was starting to quieten off , bread stalls had empty shelves . So I’d advise go as early...
