Le Brazza — Restaurant in Avranches

This place is just exceptional and saved me from wandering the streets for hours!

My train back to Paris is at 18:06, but had to check out the hotel at 11am. Already finished visiting the Mont Saint Michel in the previous days, so I just needed a place to have a coffee and catch up with work on my laptop.

Most places in Pontorson are closed between lunch hours and dinner time (2 - 5pm), but this gem of a bar / restaurant is open all the way until midnight!

They serve draft beer, pizza and pasta here, as well as coffee. (they don't serve food between lunch and dinner though, but coffee and beer are still available!)

The place is spacious with mostly local customers coming and going to have a chat and a drink.

Oh and did I mention the Wifi here is blazing fast? Like 600 Mbps+ fast.

The owner also offered to let me use their power outlet to charge my laptop / phones, and he is so cool about me just sipping beer and coffee for the afternoon (I finished a big breakfast at the hotel before checkout, and came to this place thinking I would order food in the afternoon, but found out they don't serve food again until 6:30pm - would've love to try...

An impromptu visit on our way up to Le Mont St Michel, we felt peckish and saw this Italian eatery and decided to give it a go. Lively front of house eaterie with back of house bar/tabac. Good lively service we choose a couple of soft drinks and the poule brochette ( skewer of chicken breast) with frites. The food came quickly and tasted superb. Only 1 skewer of chicken with marinated peppers and onions, but what a tasty skewer it was. Hit the spot and wasn't expensive. English and French clientelle present and obviously very popular when we arrived around 6.30pm. Child friendly with kids size...

Une très mauvaise expérience dans ce restaurant. Après plusieurs refus dans les restaurants alentours ( déjà pleins car nous n'avions pas réservé) , nous avons fini par trouver ce restaurant. On nous installe à une table . Le serveur nous dit qu'il revient tout de suite . Nous attendons une trentaine de minutes avant que l'on nous prenne les menus ( nous avons dû appeler le serveur ) car le serveur nous avait tout simplement oublié . Nous donnons nos choix de menus et le serveur nous annonce ensuite qu'il n'y a plus de pizzas .. nous sommes contraints de tous prendre des salades ( les enfants également ) . Il nous dit qu'il nous offrira les sirops des enfants et que ces derniers peuvent prendre une salade pour deux et compléter avec des frites . Nous l'écoutons. Le serveur arrive avec les salades et nous en apporte 4 au lieu de 3 . Nous avions tellement attendu que nous n'avons rien dit . Mais bien-sûr , la 4eme salade a bien été compté dans l'addition bien salée pour ce que nous avons pu manger . Les salades à plus de 11€ étaient fades , à peine assaisonnées (un peu de vinaigre balsamique), rempli de salade verte à peine essorée et flétrie . 11€ pour manger de la salade verte , cela fait très cher!
