A Scaletta — Restaurant in Bastia

I have an allergy and I asked if the meal contains this ingredient or not. They said no but after the first bite I felt it so asked again to check if they put it on the plate. They said no again. I didn’t want to risk so for my safety I didn’t eat any more bites of the food. After the others finished and we payed it turned out, they did have this ingredient and they put it on the plate. They said sorry. Shame on you beginners that you cannot pay attention to allergies, no one with an allergie should go there because they cannot take responsibility for what they give you on...

Wonderful place with beautiful view from the balcony! The staff is extremely friendly, food was excellent. The lady that took care of the service at our table was adorable, nice and helpful in explaining the dishes. One of the best moules-frites that I have ever eaten! The place is not the cheapest, but still reasonable. The platters for two are excellent as well! Thank you for this...

We really enjoyed our dinner at A Scaletta - we waited 15 minutes for a table outside the little balcony and it was worth it! We had some buratta, tartar, shellfish and duck with a view and a nice rosé from Corsica. The service was also very kind. Unfortunately the duck was more well done than medium.
