Starting with the food, the menu has a small and selected offer with daily dishes that vary according to the food availability (one day you have the seabass, another the tuna for instance). The common ground is the freshness and high quality of the food, sourced by the best producers. As a starter I highly recommend the « salad mademoiselle », made with freshly sliced tomatoes, some rocket and some homeade pesto sauce with a burrata gently placed on a tart..indeed perfection comes from simplicity! As main dishes you shall absolutely try their octopus, perfectly grilled and placed on a sweet potatoe mash to elevate the taste of the seafood. Also their meat dishes are worth trying.

The location is in the center of Bastia in a calm road with other small restaurants. The building is an old palace renovated, surrounded by majestic trees that make the perfect atmosphere for a « al fresco » dinner, in the open patio.

The host is extremely friendly and welcoming, very attentive in making sure his guests have the best experience.

We really enjoyed our experience at Le Mademoiselle. We’re a family with three kids - teenagers and pre-teen - and we were on our last night in Corsica before getting the ferry the next morning. Bastia is such an enjoyable old town center - we had a great evening. In mid-July on a Friday evening, the old town is full of nice shops and, funny to say, great graffiti. At the restaurant, we listened to live music in the nearby square. Bastia was lovely for not being overly touristic, having a lively local culture, while still being very welcoming.

The restaurant’s service is super friendly and efficient. The charcuterie plate was a great conclusion to our week - the best Coppa I’ve had. The desserts were especially delicious.

J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de dîner dans le restaurant le plus somptueux de Bastia et je suis ravi de partager mon expérience fantastique avec vous. Ce véritable bijou de la gastronomie locale mérite amplement ses cinq étoiles !

Dès mon premier pas à l'intérieur, j'ai été ébloui par le décor exceptionnel de ce restaurant. L'ambiance y est à la fois intime et élégante, offrant une expérience culinaire digne des plus grands établissements. La cerise sur le gâteau est sans aucun doute sa terrasse inattendue en plein cœur de Bastia qui offre une ambiance tranquille et cosy.

Le menu du restaurant est volontairement restreint, mais cela garantit la fraîcheur et la qualité des ingrédients utilisés. Chaque plat est soigneusement préparé avec des produits locaux de première qualité, ce qui se ressent indéniablement dans l'explosion de saveurs en bouche. Les plats sont aussi beaux à regarder qu'à déguster, une véritable œuvre d'art culinaire !

Le personnel du restaurant mérite également une mention spéciale. Leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme ont rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable.
