Glouby — Restaurant in Bayonne

Great food and really good service. The restaurant is located in a narrow, very charming but well frequented alley. You can sit outside and inside. Outside, the tables are arranged as a row in the middle of the alley and we were lucky that we even had live music. We had Pizza chorizo, pizza Glouby, pizza calzone, the fish burger and a special pizza that was made especially for my colleague after a lovely consultation because he couldn't decide on a meal. Great small, feels local restaurant in the atmospheric centre of Biarritz. Owner was really great and friendly. The garlic bread starter was fantastic and so too was the pizza. The only negative was that the lady serving did not engage at all and was very very quick and never spoke to you, just threw the plates down and ran off. Merci pour votre retour qui montre effectivement que je ne m' étais pas trompé sur mon avis initial. Je ne vais pas revenir sur la nourriture mais concernant la langue, je trouve effectivement insupportable que l'on me parle en anglais ou espagnol alors que vous comme moi sommes français ! en France ! ne faites pas semblant de ne pas comprendre.

Très surpris de la si bonne note général. Service lent, M. Et Mme dépassées par les événements alors que la salle est relativement petite et la zone très fréquentée donc ils devraient avoir l’expérience de tels services. On vous parle directement dans une langue étrangère, c’est assez insupportable lorsque nous sommes en France. Concernant la nourriture ce n’est malheureusement pas mieux, pate très fine pour les pizzas et au final cela fait une pizza trop cuite et salade basque à 16€ pour avoir du jambon et fromage industriel c’est très cher payé.
