We loved this little village, we wanted to stop for some lunch after an amazing trip over the mountains. We had free parking with amazing views of the snow capped mountains. The bakery caught our eye and loved the look of the cakes in the window. The ones pictured were outstanding, we also had a panini which was big enough for us to have half there and half later that day. Coffee was tasty, the staff were friendly but not over enthusiastic. The toilets were nice, fresh, clean and soap smelt lovely. The only thing stopping me giving this a 5 star was the price. It was expensive for the food it was. Still would...

Bonjour, Je viens régulièrement à Argentière et si je fréquentais régulièrement votre établissement dans le passé, je n'y viens plus que pour le viking. J'adore le pain et il est franchement meilleur dans les autres boulangeries d'Argentiere. Vous n'êtes d'ailleurs pas une boulangerie mais un dépôt de pains. Je vous souhaite donc de produire un meilleur pain ! Très bonne initiative d'avoir installé un espace pour consommer à l'extérieur. Pour le service, je rejoins d'autres commentaires sur le manque d'amabilité d'une employée avec cette petite histoire. Un client étranger lui demande "6 baguettes s'il vous plaît", elle lui demande, en français, s'il souhaite autre chose alors qu'il regardait dans son portefeuille. Comme il ne répond pas, elle lui demande à nouveau sans changer de ton, et comme il se débat encore avec sa monnaie, il ne répond toujours pas. Elle étale alors de l'agacement dans des termes dont je ne me souviens plus mais qui s'exprimait aussi de façon non verbale. Vient mon tour, je lui fais remarquer qu'il était étranger et ne comprenait pas ce qu'elle demandait. Elle me répond que ce genre de client à la même attitude même lorsqu'elle parle anglais. Je suis resté "sur le c...". Je raconte cela à mon épouse qui me dit qu'elle voit très bien qui est cette dame car elle ne l'a pas trouvé très sympathique, mais c'est une autre histoire... Très sincèrement, elle n'est pas faite pour ce type de métier avec une relation client. Le nouveau, un jeune d'origine parisienne, avec qui j'ai discuté avec la laverie, et présent depuis peu, est bien mieux ! Je ne doute pas que vous allez en discuter avec votre employée, et que cela ne changera pas grand chose... Je pense sincèrement que cela vous fait perdre des clients...

The woman missed my portion of the order and after my partners food was ready she went to go clean the inside of an oven. Her back was faced to me and was ignoring me when I tried to ask if she had forgotten to add my meal. After a couple tries she noticed me and acknowledged she had forgotten my part of the order. Straight from cleaning the oven she went to touch my quiche with her hands before putting it to get heated up. I never saw her wash her hands before serving the other customers.
