Saint Gervais was very busy between Christmas and the New Year. Having had a huge dump of snow and 4 days of blue skies it was the perfect timing. However we hadn’t booked anything and everything was fully booked. Luckily they squeezed us in between 6.30pm and 8pm. With 3 fussy English teenagers in tow they were turning there nose’s up to something different. Namely Savoury pancakes. When in Rome. However two of them were pleasantly surprised to see Burgers and chips. Which was excellent. We had 2 Galettes, mine with Honye, cheeses and potatoes, delicious and one with different meats. Even the garnished salad was delicious. We then had Nutella crepes for dessert with pair, strawberry and lemon ice cream all delicious. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Read moreCan’t comment on the food but Google said it was open at 5.15 so we drove there to eat at 6pm but I was told it doesn’t open until 6.45 and open for reservations at 6pm - as this is a Google review it’s appropriate to give one star for misinformation. Just say it opens at 6.45 (open means open for business - it doesn’t mean that you start work and have dinner yourself whilst customers wait for you) - i would be happy if you just apologised that the information needed changing and that you would update it and more than happy to...

I’ve been going there for years, the service is fast and on point and the staff is very nice and efficient. Although crêpes are from Brittany, they have both the classic fillings as well as local ones: raclette, tartiflette etc... Also, you can’t have crêpes without cider, so make sure to get a “bolée”...
